For some university students, the morning ‘rush’ is what gets them through the day. The burst of caffeine awakening the mind and stimulating the body is the perfect way to wake up the tired students. “Two large double shot cappuccinos”, one of the many orders the local cafe Rush cater for. Ironic that the name ‘rush’ is what we as uni students are looking for at 8:30 in the morning. For some morning coffee is what “gets [them] through the day”, from this could we classify regular coffee drinkers as drug addicts? After all caffeine is described as a drug which stimulates the central nervous system. Are we becoming caffeine addicts?
